I had a cv shaft go bad in my beater 86 accord , so i got a new one pulled the old one out and put the new one in. I put all the suspension back together dropped the car to the floor and mtf started flowing out of the tranny. so i jacked the car back up again and pulled everything off and im back at puttin everything together i was wondering if there are any tricks to puttin them in ? and yes the little snap ring is still in place

which side are you talking about? The driver/half-shaft side should slide right in w/o much force. The passenger side needs a bit more force... I used a gear puller at the hub end to "push" the axle into the tranny. You might want to check your seals... might have torn them. hth.
it is the driver side what seals are you talking about? it really isnt hard to get in /out its just that when i set it down i lost fluid
thanks for the quick response
