i drive a 99 civicsi
ok first off i Torr the hell out of my outer front left CV boot. there's grease everywhere.
i'm not sure when it happened but i know it was the within the last 2 or 3 days (pretty sure it happened today)
i've been driving on it and had the boot replaced tonight
what i'm wondering is how strong are the CV joints? i was told that i might need to replace it. there are no noises coming from it "clicking or grinding"
is it a big deal if i just go on driving it now or is it a must that i replace it?

if you don't hear any noise it should be okay.
Generally, if you drive on them for weeks with the boot ripped open the bearings will get hot spot and cause them to make noise.
