Default cutting out at 5000 rpm?..

I just installed some skunk2 stage 2 cams and now it cuts out at 5000 rpm... I redid the whole head. Mild port and polish, intake manifold, 68mm throttle body, complete valvetrain... Started it afterI tuned the valves and now it only hits 5000 rpm. When it's parfed at idle it can rev to 9000 rpm and it sounds killer...Any suggestions?..

Does it cut out or just bog really bad? Your fuel setup is__________? Are you still running stock exhaust from the head back?

yeah it seems to bogg really bad.. I got a edlebrock fuel rail, aem fuel pressure regulator, new fuel filter, stock b18c pump, and a vafc.. I have a dc 4-1 header and and Apexi N1 cat back with a high flow cat conv...

2 much fuel pressure, happened to me, worked fine then all the sudden! puttputtputt

run about 40lbs and DONT PLAY Wwith the AFC

I got it tuned... The problem was too much fuel when vtec kicked in.. Had to change the vtec engagment to 5900 rpm... I took out the skunk2 stage 2 cams and will be putting them back in once I get my pistons/rod/crank combo.. I loss too much low end it's not funny...
