What companies make good CUSTOM pistons and rods? Prefferably I'd like to purchase both from the same company if possible to assure fitment between the two unless specifing "stock" as a wristpin size is no problem. I know ROSS does custom pistons but who does custom rods? This is for a J series honda. Also, does anyone know if forged pistons damage J series sleeves like they do with H series?

 

Most of the piston companys will do customs.JE,CP,Wiseco,Aries,Ross,Mahle.As far as rods go Pauter,Manley,Crower,Cunningham,Carrillo all do customs.Just talk with both the piston and rod designers and get there recommendations for pin sizing and such.Email or fax them your final spec.s so there is no confusion on the phone.This time of year expect long lead times so don't wait.Also add a few weeks to what they tell you.
