I was thinking the other day... why spend like $500 on a full catback. I like the (genuine) Apexi n1 mufflers and my friend got his catback piping done for like $80 or something like that. I know the N1 mufflers are like $150-170 or something in that area. If I could get the n1 for say $170 and the piping for $100... wouldn't that be much better than spending the whole $500 on the n1? Has anybody here done this combo... an Apexi N1 muffler (the real one) and custom catback piping?
the only diif is most muffler shops do not manderl bend the exhaust piping..meaning there is small kinks in it..whereas purchasing the catback your piping is bent and there is no kinks...i have custom catback..2.5" to a pro #1 muffler and it has a few kinks but i dont thnk it hurts too bad...if you are on a budget then this is a good idea if not worried about the cost buy catback...or find muffler shop that can or will bend manderal style..
