I installed a new cam yesterday, and i only had one chance to start it up before i left for work. the idle was a little louder than usual but not drasticly, and it was still smooth. nothing out of the ordinary occurred, except that i got this annoying light clap-clap-clap sound, which was VERY noticeable. will this go away after i break in the cam? or is it the sounds of trouble. perhaps just a valve adjustment? what do you all think? thanks

Do one. the ticking should go away. if it dosent. do another one after you have run on the cams for a while.

 

yeah its goes pwn3d kamin thats ownz ok. but yeah its just a valve adjustment.

 

good good. i just have to go pick up a feeler guage early tomorrow morning then. no stores here open on easter.....auto parts stores should be open everyday
