ctr pistons on a gsr?will it work
They'll drop into your bottom end just fine and this is a very common build... As for the piston to valve clearance, that all depends on the cams... There would be no reason to run some insanely big cams with high lift and lots of duration since your compression isn't that high... Something along the lines of CTR/ITR cams would be a better option for power and for piston-valve clearance... Without any milling of the block/head you should be fine at 0,0... If you are worried about cam advance/retard then clay the motor... Good Luck
yes they will fit and work but i suggest not to use the gsr head because it will ping or detonate due to cumbustion chamber and valve clearance from the head to the ctr piston might be dangerous
Pistons will work, and not hit the head. Your compression will not be extremely high because the 93 GSR uses a B16 head, not the later model P72 head with the smaller combustion chambers.
you'll be fine...its only OEM parts, not some insane full race spec. monster piston. just clay and check the clearances and you'll be straight.
