Default CTR pistons in a B-16A

I have CTR pistons and rods. Can I mill the head and use crower 402's and have sufficient piston to valve clearance? Whats the compression ratio w/o milling the head? Friend had the same CTR setup w/o cams and was fine but some people told me I couldn't mill the head and have clearnace. I have been told my compression will be 12:1 by just adding the pistons. Is this true? What are my options w/ my head if I used the CTR setup? Thanks

no it would not be 12:1 it would be around 10.8:1 in your b16a. Since your head is milled i cant tell you what your c/r is going to be. 12:1 would apply to a b18c with ctr pistons, When you increase the stroke it also increases the compression ratio. ues this reference: http://www.c-speedracing.com/howto/c...c/compcalc.php hope that helps
