CTR pisonts in LS B18A. Need Help!!

CTR pisonts in LS B18A. Need Help!!
I'm trying to get CTR pistons in an LS block. The rods are too wide to be pressed on. What rods work with these pistons, or if I notch out the rod, what does the clearance need to be?

In order to make ctr pistons fit on an ls rods you have to take it to a machine and have them take of 1mm from each side of the rods then it will work fine. I've done it many times already and it works!!!!!!!

The rods have been resized already and are waiting for an answer about narrowing. One place told me 30 thousandths on each side of the rod. Thanks for your reply.
