I was wondering what kind of hp & torque any of you have got from installing CTR cams into a JDM B16a motor?

 

i put them in mine, i got 163@wheels, and 117 torque, but that was also with hondata.

 

I'm getting 177.9hp & 136.6tq. now so with the cams and v-afc/hondata do you think I can hit 200hp/150tq. ?

 

of course, why not? sure!

 

Does anyone else have any input on if I did install the CTR cams and say V-afc if I would hit the 200hp/150tq that I want for this season?

 

depends on the mods you already have but a solid 5-12whp and 5-7lb/ft of torque can be expected.

136 for tourqe? geez..thats alot for a b16, w. those mods..i dont think u can hit 150 w. just cams and v-afc

 

Thanks for all the replys. I'm going to put in the cams, v-afc and a jacobs ignition I have and then have it tuned and hope that I'm close or pass my goals but it's going to take awhile because of money.(Having another baby )
