CryO2?? does this stuff work?
ok this kit claims that by using carbon dioxide you can cool the intake change of your vehicle and thus create more hp. This of course is a common way of producing more horsepower, very similarly to nitrous. my question is, does this stuff work and what kind of gain should one expect. im pretty skeptical on the whole thing, but i want something that will give my b16a a little more power and c02 is very inexpensive, a possible great alterative to nitrous. what do you guys think?

Looks like rice to me. The first few basic kits looked like all they offered was being able to make it *look* like you had a nitrous purge system w/o actually having nitrous.
And you live in Wisconsion, how much colder do you need your intake air?
Where does it purge the co2 to? Into the intake tubing, or before the filter? If in the intake tubing, arent you just condensing air thats in the tubing already and would be limited already by the tubing size/filter?

yea, it really cant get much colder here. the co2 goes into the intake tube before the filter. i would think the size of the tube would have little to do with it. the concept is the same as a dry nitrous kit with a bung in the intake tube. super cold air charge= more 02 per volume= more horsepower. i cant seem to find anyone that has this crazy ****
yea i read that article before. thats on a turbo vehicle on the intercooler, which i can see making a noticable difference. i wonder how it is on a NA? bump for a cosworth escort, which is the domestic you'd ever catch me drivin.
