problem: the car would take a few secs to start. i was driving it around the block and it just lost power.. pushed it home.. it woulndt start at all, at this point. i pulled plug wire to cylinder 1 out and put it to ground (no spark).. checked the main reply, fuses, replaced the ign switch, the ignitor is good, plug wires are good, pulled both the ecu and back up fuses, replaced the coil.. any help please.. also its gettting power to the disturber.

 

once it starts its fine.. nice idle, ect.. also while it was running i unplugged each wire.. their all getting spark

 

anyone?

 

updated... ign on ll (12.7 volts) to the disturber. then when cranking it loses power and drops to 0 volts.. any ideas?

 

u found the problem??

 

You either have a bad ignition control module (igniter) or a bad wire/connection between it and the ECM or a bad wire between it and the ignition switch. I would start by checking connections at the dizzy then take it to Autozone and have it checked. You really need a service manual, all this stuff is in there.
