i had a short at the starter, a positive wire (from the battery) was touching the outside of the starter. this was causeing the fuel pumps to kick on and off while at low rpms because of the extra vibraton im guessing (since the wire was just really really close to the ground it would only hit when moved slightly) so know the car wont start cuz the fuel pumps arent getting turned on/priming the lines-rail-ect. so what do i do?? i checked fuses, all good. ecu seems fine. i have no clue and i have a dyno and tune this saturday 200miles from my house. please help -alex

iv tried two different main relays but that didnt work, now that i think about it, i used both of them while the short was doing its dirty work, so maybe both of those are messed up. ill have to get another maybe... any ideas

 

Check all the grounds. And how did you check your fuses? Use a test light and check each side of every one and see if there's a broken one.

 

did it all. im sending my ems to aem to fix i think that was the problem i must have messed it up.

 

replace the rubber gromet on on the positive wire that hooks onto your starter, Also if your grounds are bad then you'll run into that problem

 

i moved the battery to the rear and my large wire that goes from the bat. to the starter kinda rubbed, what happened after that is beyond me.
