CRX Guage Wiring Experts Needed!!!

CRX Guage Wiring Experts Needed!!!
Im wiring a 90 Cable EDM i-VT cluster into my 89 DX.. As of right now I have the clips wired as follows
(A) 8 Pin
Black - Yel/Red - Grn/Blk - Blu/Red - Empty - Yel/Wht - Yel - Grn/Yel
(B) 12 pin
Grn/Blu - Red/Blu - Yel/Grn - Blk/Red - Grn/Red - Yel/Red - Grn/Org - Empty - Blu/Yel - Blk/Yel - Wht/Blu - Blu
Now... What is that tiny other clip for? I have all 3 wires going into that still. Im hearing people tell me that I have to have a wire from the harness conencted to a screw on the back of the cluster.. Can anyone shine some light on the subject??
