crush bend vs. mandrel bend on N/A application
just wondering how much ID is lost on a typical typical crush-bend on a 2.5" pipe. The exhaust shop is telling me that with the proper use of flow converters (look like resonators to me...) that it won't matter..... any thoughts?
It will deffinately matter!!
You may not notice a hugh difference if you don't have a lot of mods yet that will take advantage of your new free flowing exhaust. But it will effect your performance in some respect.
If you would pinch your water hose just a little, put a small kink in it, the next time you wash your car, you'll notice the water flow slow down a little (that is if your hose doesn't have a nossle on it). Well, the crush-bend will do the same thing to the exhaust gasses.
