OK, I used to have a B16 in my old gen 2 teg. It had some problems and i wanted something more reliable and street driveable. I just got a new Gen 2 with its stock LS motor. I picked up some crower 62404 cams, springs, and retainers. My Questions are this:
1) When I install the head internals, how can i increase my redline to 8200(which is what crower says is safe to rev to)??? Would the only way be to chip the ecu???
2) Is it a feesable idea to boost with these cams (if not, why not???)
3) What are some really good mods for an NA LS motor (I would think ITB, IM, and the obvious motor internals)

1) I think depending on the ECU, that's the only way to make your car 8200rpm as redline
2) do a whole rebuild on it, or just replace the pistons, rods, bearings, and do some block work

thanks for the help. as for the boost, I meant are these cams good for boost or will the be bad for boost. I know to boost safely i will be doing a full rebuild, i just want to know cam specifically.
