crower 404s and nitrous?? LS motor
i was wondering if the crower 404 cams for the integra LS would be good for a nitrous car. im gonna spray around a 75 shot and i want to know if the cams will help or hurt it any? specs for the cams can be found here > http://www.crower.com/cat/impo...shtml . thanks for your help.
I wouldn't run those cams with nitrous. The 404 is a very aggressive NA cam, high lift, long duration and long overlap. Not very friendly to get to idle either.
If you're shopping cams look for something with high lift, short duration, short overlap. You want to keep the duration short to keep the nitrous from shooting out the exhaust port when you spray.
The 62402t or 62403 cam would be a better choice. The 62402t being my first choice for nitrous users.

i always thought ppl run big cams with nitrous. cause since the air going into the motor isnt forced theyre shouldnt be that problem of it juss wasting out the exhauslt side. u can always dial out the over lap with some cam gears...
