I just put a B16 in my coupe 2 days ago. I had to rewire the dizzy for the fat B16 plug. The current plug was for a sohc zc vtec. I got everything done and cranked it up and got no CEL's other than one for the O2 sensor because it's not plugged in. It's been running just fine since then. So I was driving today and it died on me. I pulled over and after looking at everything on the outside, took the dizzy cap off and found that the screw that holds the rotor button in had come out and stredded up my cap and button but that's all it ruined that I could see. I went and bought new stuff...even a new coil, put it all in, and still got no spark. I redid my grounds and now it cranks but will not stay cranked for ****. Throw's code 15 now. Im guessing something is shorted somewhere but I have no idea what it would be. I've even swapped dizzy's with a buddy and it still wouldn't keep my car cranked. The crazy thing is, my IACV is going crazy too. It's making a flickering noise really fast when the key is on....like reallllly fast. The CEL is doing the same thing sometimes. Not showing a real code...just blinking extremely fast with the IACV. Im stumped big time. Anyone have any idea's? No CELs other than code 15 for the ignition output signal. I've gotta get my car back on the road asap.

 

bump... I really need some help. I've also already changed ECU's and it also didn't change anything at all. Please help.
