crappy brake question
So, I'm in the midst of the (seemingly) never-ending integra rear disc swap, on my 93 Civic EX Coupe...I can't get the rear caliper piston to 'twist in' to accomodate the new pads. Is it possible to just compress it in with a C-clamp, or atleast get it started this way? These calipers are from a boneyard and may be crud, but I'd atleast try to see if I can't salvage them.
Any thoughts?

I know for sure that you can't use a C clamp. The caliper is designed to twist in. Use some brake cleaner to loosen it up a little and keep trying.

it seems you can only use a c-clamp on the front calipers. I am going to attach the cailpers to the brackets and pump the brakes and hope it will get them freed-up. Is this a good idea? Any other thoughts on how to get them moving?
Somewhat related...almost all, if not all, of the fluid drained out of my mastercylinder...do I have to take it off and bench bleed it, or can I just fill it up and bleed the whole system like normal to flush it out? I also swapped out the proportioning valve, but that shouldn't matter...
