Returning the Favor
I've gotten some good advice from you folks on which parts to stay away from and which parts will do the deal, and now it's my turn to return the favor.
One of my front wheels was squealing like your sister. I figured it was a wheel bearing, because it couldn't have been the brakes. I did a brake job less than 4K miles ago. Low and behold, the brakes were the culprit. The pads were craked all to hell, and just about to the point of tearing up my nice rotors. The pads were the kevlar composites from EBC; the green ones. While durability is not at the top of the list for performance parts, you should be able to expect them to last a little longer than an oil change. H-E-L-L-O Raybestos.
As a side note, the Yokohama Parada Spec-2's I've been rolling on aren't wearing worth a **** either; by 10K, they'll be toast.

those pads suck, you should look into axxis ultimates or something

again, those tires are alrite, definately not worth the money, especially when azenis are about 1/2 the price, twice the grip, and last just about the same length of time as the pradas.

well live and learn i guess
Ive heard Raybestos is a good brand both from my instructor, and some others
About paradas... i havent heard any good things about that... Now im not a big fan of the Falken Azenis (since i have better choices to choose from, and get better prices on Advan Neovas), i hear from allover that thoes are very very good for the price.
