i'm getting this code, and i'm pretty sure this has something to do with my distributor. should i just replace the entire distributor (was purchased new from honda a year ago) or is there something else i should try first.

electrical problems are something i'm not good at...any suggestions would be great.

i have an obd1 b16a3 in a 92dx hatchback. all new spark plug wires, wiring is otherwise fine, vtec activates, car went 14.5@95 with no other modifications.

Your CKP shouldn't go out that fast... I would check the wiring but I don't really know what would go wrong there... Everything for your swap was just plug n play but I would check to see that there are no breaks in the wire and that all your connectors are tight... If everything checks out good there then maybe you do have something wrong with the distributor... If so try just replacing the CKP if you have one laying around... Good Luck

I can't seem to find it ..
