Crack head gasket... Help
1. I have pressure(air) in the coolant lines lower and upper, ive been told its my head gasket, but there is no coolant in the oil, just changed the thermostat and had it tested and they said it was the Head gasket does this sound right to you guys?....input please
on the head there is a little escape valve. 10mm, loosen it cold then start the car and let it run till it warms up when it starts spitting fluid in a clean stream (not air) then you are good, close it back and clean up. Keep the reserve full while doing this.
Or you can do the lazy man method of un-capping the the radiator and doing the same thing. Just be sure to keep the radiator full while you are doing this.

Sometimes the head gasket will just leak combustion gases into the water jacket when a head gasket goes bad, but I mostly see that in boosted motors. Look to see if your overflow tank is coated with black crud on the inside and see if gray oily sludge is building up on the bottom of your radiator cap.
