Default cps cel

put my fully built b series in my eg hatch and used a stock p30 to start it. it was throwing code 4 (crank position sensor). I then swapped the p30 for a p28 and the code went away. I noticed my intake cam was off alittle so I adjusted it and now its throwing the code again.does this mean my dizzy is bad? I had it in my b16 coupe with no problems.

Since you didn't say I'll assume you have an OBD1 distributor.

Disconnect the engine harness to dizzy plugs. On the dizzy plug test for resistance between the blu/grn and blu/yel wires. You should have 350-700 ohms.

Test for continuity to chassis ground on the same two wires. It should read as open or no continuity.
