Default CP piston pin lock install

Anyone have any tips on how to install the pin lock. Real pain in the ***. Eagle rods on CP pistons not that it matters. I'm just looking to see if any experianced engine builders can kick me down with and tips on how to install the locks for the pins

anyone I never get an answer on this tech forum

does this look right, I scratched the lock area a little but I'm more concerned about the way it is positioned?

I don't think it really matters. As long as the clip is in the recess it sould not be able to come out without you physically removing it

Looks good, jsut remember not to put too much force into it as its possible to deform the clip out of round then it wont have the best shape for the whole grove.

well I have noticed that they have been getting a little out of form but not really roundness more like a twisted deform but they all have been seating in nicely once they are in. How much pressure do the locks see when they are in the block and it's running?
