Default Couple of quick question...please help

I'm about to start my clutch install on my 2000 Civic Si.

1. Do I need to leave my car in neutral or put it in gear while I'm doing the install?
2. When I take my flywheel to get resurfaced, do I need to tell the machine shop anything or just say I need it resurfaced?

Thanks.

Just say resurfaced. As far as what gear, I am not sure that matters however, I would wait for an answer.

if the clutch you're getting requires a certain flywheel "step" tell them that measurement.

As for leaving the car in gear, it won't make any difference. I would leave it in neutral throughout the install.
