cooling system
i just drove it around again and the temp got to almost halfway and again upper/hot---lower/cold..someone told me to take the radiator cap off and watch to see if water flows when the thermostat opens(if the thermo works)also the top of the rad was hot and the bottom cool i dont know if that matters.could it be the water pump?what do you peeps think?

seems like it..does anyone know where the fan switch is on a b16?cuz i noticed my fan hasnt turned on since i dropped in the motor..also does anyone have a pic or diagram on the coolant/water hose routing from the motor to the heater core and back to the motor?cuz i removed the entire ac/heater system(wasnt ever gonna use it)
Hi there, i would suggest bleeding the cooling system first, possible u have air trapped in the system. Did u bleed the cooling system? Open the bleed until air bubbles stop coming out, or run the car with the rad cap off until the cooling fan cycles. The thermostat is open when the lower rad hose is hot and u can see flow in the radiator. Good Luck, lemme know how it goes!
