Icon2 coolent or condensation?

well i just got my mini me swap finished and is now running great other then a p06 with a

z6 head, but im fixing that with a tune and a p28. so the car over heated last night first

problem after driving it for a week in this colder MN weather. on my way back home after is

started to over heat the temp dropped and was fine again, but car was low on coolant,

maybe a half jug. i pulled the oil cap off and there was a cream goop. now my question is,

is that coolant or containsation. i know the car isnt running the best due to it being

advanced on timing to make up for the richness its running at (its really rough during a cold

start up, i dunno why either)

I'm guessing the cream goop is old coolant that had accumulated at the bottom of your radiator, and when your engine overheated it was released and brought to the top of your radiator. It may need completely flushed out now.

he pulled the oil cap off. the cream is a mixture of oil and water. He wants to know if its coolant or condesation inside the crankcase.

The only way to tell is to drain the oil and/or pull the valve cover. Some condesation can be considered normal, but if its all over the valve train or ANY comes out with the oil then its time for a rebuild.

You should drain your oil and hopefully you didn't blow the head gasket. Coolant inside you oil is not good for the bearing.
