I have a couple of questions if you guys could help me. (This is not my motor but it was all I could find for a picture of the back of the block.) Anyway what is the black box here circled and where does that fitting that the arrow is pointing to connect on a blox mani on a GSR? Also where the small circle is, there is a coolant line runs through the intake mani, but when the mani is installed there is a second small tube coming from the large pipe, where does that connect?

The black box is your oil seperator box. Its part of the PCV system. Get rid of it and pickup an Endyn Breather system.

The other part are coolant passages. The larger goes to the heater core and the smaller goes to the IAC, or if you don't have one, the TP or just loop it back into the coolant system.

Well I think I got it all figured out and it has been a long time dealing with all this but maybe I can help someone else by saying the GSR stock IM has one large coolant line at the corner of the IM. The Blox GSR mani has 2 coolant lines coming from the corner and you only need one. Mine was accidently connected to the pcv system and has caused me a million headaches. I hope this helps someone else!
