Cons of running this ECU?
I lost my OBD1 P72 so im looking for a cheap stock ECU to use and came across a OBD2B. Im thinking of running this in my 94 GSR with a conversion harness. What would be the cons of running this, other than the fact that a OBD1 ecu would be better for mods. Also Im going to run my car stock but is the OBD2B chippable?

It is, but you'll be sorry. The hardware is around $400-$600. You're really better off spending $130 and getting the OBD1 P72. The OBD2 has a crank fluctuation sensor, so you'll have to replace your oil pump... Then you have to put up with the **** engine managment. OBD2 will set a code for anything it feels like. After you buy the ecu, wiring harness, crap to make it run, etc, you could have had 3 OBD1 ecus.
