Default Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) programs on a budget?

Does anyone know where to find a CFD program that doesn't cost $25000?
I'd love to play around with some aerodynamic ideas to see what effects it could potentially have on a vehicle.

well, if you are open to using linux, and are adept at programming, you might be able to use OpenFoam. http://www.opencfd.co.uk/openfoam/ Its a free open source fluid dynamics library.

in reality, unless you are a software engineer its probably not worth looking at. There is a guy in the road race/autocross forum that does aero as a job i think, you may talk to him for guidance. i cant remember his name, but he was advertising free windtunnel time just a bit ago.

Are you talking about Johnny Mac and his wind tunnel testing in NC?

I'm not going to have anything done to the car in time for his tunnel test. I wanted to look into some CFD software first to get and idea on some setups before going through the effort of making anything.
I did do some C++ programing about 10 years ago, but I'm no software engineer.
I found an information site: http://www.cfd-online.com/
Might hold some info.
