Comptech icebox question...

Comptech icebox question...
I'm going to get the comptech icebox soon. Should I buy a shortram intake or should I just buy a K&N Filter and use the stock rubber tubbing? Anyone done this?

hang on to the stock hose for now. it's not really worth the gains to pay for it unless you are racing for a payout that would justify it.
