compression test adapter stuck in cylinder, HELP!!
yea this may sound kind of dumb but yesterday during a compression test on my friends 240 sr20 the compression test adapter got stuck in cylinder 1. the compression however ran this way.
1= 155
2= 160
3= 120
4= 130
now thats the least of our concerns, we gotta get that adapter out.
ok fast forwarding, we put some lock tight on the other part of the hose and screwed up back to the adapter that is stuck in the cylinder with hopes of it bonding with the adapter and then being able to spin it out free. long story short it didnt work, now the whole compression test kit is stuck in the cylinder. and NO, we did not put any lock tight on the adapter for the part that goes to the plug. so here is our dilemma, any help would be gladly appreciate it.
and yes, we are idiots for doing this and plz dont flame.
thanks

can you get long needle nose pliers in there and grasp an edge and turn it? its happened to me before and thats how I got it out. after that i wrapped duck tape around the bottom piece and the hose.
is it possible to at least get some wd or something to help seep and lubricate it? And then try to get it to spin? Best of luck. There is always a way just a matter of finding it. bump

Ive always been paranoid about this exact scnerio. This is why I have the adapter tight as **** and loctited on there.
Try some red loctite or some epoxy on the threads and let it sit overnight.

I just did the exact same @#!!@$# thing.... I WAS going to try to glue the hose to the adapter aswell, but now im just scared.
EDIT: A little super glue and some twisting did the trick
