Compression Test: 20 Psi below cylinder #3
Did rings on cylinder #2, swapped heads and now I have 20psi lower on cylinder #3. My compression was fine before on that cylinder ....
- All other cylinders between 165-178 .. #3 is about 155
- Do I need a valve adjustment maybe ? Or is it build up on valves ? (Never changed valves, just cleaned them up a bit)
- Car sat a while, this is a long shot, but could it be a sticky ring ?
- some valves had build up but I took off as much as I could

Never mind. I was thinking of another symptom when I wrote that.
Do a leakdown test to show were you're losing compression.

Under ASE specs you are fine. +/- 30 PSI is the max allowable limit. My guess, valves seats are pitted/worn or not seated yet since you did mentioned u cleaned them.
I had a similar problem on my gsr. took the hose for my compression tester, took the valve out of the engine connector side, twisted the hose in the low comp cyl, and then hooked it up to a compressor with about 95 psi, **with the cyl in question at TDC**, then listened to where the compression was leaking from.
