I have a b16 motor,, is runs fine, but when i pull the spark plug wires off cyl # 1 nothing happens then 2 nothing happens then 3 they there is a differance then 4 nothing happens,, only 1 plug makes a differance,, any info on that will help thanks. weird.

What does that have to do with a compression test?

If the car runs fine, what is the problem? Don't go looking for trouble, it will find you.

 

i thought if u pull any plug the car suppose to drop and idle low,, thats all.

 

Normally, yes. But if it really is running ok, I wouldn't question it. Something about a gift horse in the mouth.

Why were you pulling the plug wires? Did you have a reason to suspect something was wrong?

 

i just did a swap a b16 in a 93 hatch, just fine tuning it

 

Have you tried tuning the distributor and fuel pressure? Whenever I take my car into to get tuned, that's what my mechanic does and it feels so much faster.
