Default Compression Questions... JE GSR in b16

I've got a set of JE GSR pistons (12.5 CR in a b18)stock bore that I wanna place in a B16a2 block. What compression will i get outta the B16 with these pistons. Any problems using GSR pistons? Anyone done this? I ask becuase JE has a weird way of figuring out compression. i think they measure it with like no head gasket or something.
I'm using a b16 head(2000 civic si). Head was resurfaced with a P&P from Portflow.
any help would be appreciated.
thanks

Default Re: Compression Questions... JE GSR in b16 (texasSI)

I came up with 10.35:1

The stock PR3 pistons have a dome volume of 6.01 cc's, those JE pistons have a dome volume of 6.7 cc's, so the compression isnt raised that much.

The reason they are 12.5:1 in a GSR motor is due to the P72 cylinder head. It has a slightly smaller combustion chamber volume than the PR3 head.
