Default Compression Cause a Problem???

My car is running like crap since i had hondata s200, 550's, and my boost controller in. The car didn't run like this before it went into the shop. The shop told me that my compression was low and they said that the car will run like this until i replace my headgasket because it is too thick. Does this sound like BS?

describe crap? Well its a two, sometimes four door, solid rear axle, nascar like stock wing, drum braked, clip on interior, 108 governed, no mid or high end power, sloppy *** cable shifter, or early shifting auto with 3 overdrive gears, noisy, backfiring, red bowtie covered, geo metro bigger brother, *** magnet, and they most times call it a cavalier! you " ****** clown"
.... ok .... now thats some quality input...

What do you mean here? What set-up are you using. What did they do at the shop? Is it tuned? Is it built?
