Compression Cause a Problem???
My car is running like crap since i had hondata s200, 550's, and my boost controller in. The car didn't run like this before it went into the shop. The shop told me that my compression was low and they said that the car will run like this until i replace my headgasket because it is too thick. Does this sound like BS? Any suggestions? Please help me!
Can you more specific as to what "Running like crap" is? Not holding an idle? Running to rich and bogging at low RPM? or high RPM?
You need to give us a little more detail in order to help you out.

you ever been in a car that has timing off? It is 100 times worse
you can be going any speed any rpm and the thing will jerk you so hard that i am hitting my head on the back of my seat. the acceleration in first and second sucks because it seems to boggle, 3rd dosen't seem to have a problem, it actually seems that 3rd has a ton more power or the trubo kicks in a lot harder. It just dosen't feel good at all, it actually feels like i am causing more problems, even though the shop says that you shouldn't have any problems
The only thing that i don't understand is, if the shop knew that the compression was low by the first pass on the dyno....why in the hell would you put it on the dyno for numerous passes, putting it to the limit? It dosen't make any since to me. It just pisses me off that i spent 2000 for the car to run better than it was, and it comes out of the shop running 100 times worse. And they give me this bullshit saying that they can't do anything about it

I'm assuming you Hondata S200 has the boost option? What about data logging? You said it has been on the dyno. What do your runs look like? Is it getting enough fuel? Because the bucking/jerking you said earlier believes me to think you have fuel problem.
Or your plugs are not firing correctly

I'd start with another shop unless you trust these fools who don't seem to test drive cars before they let their customers leave them.
Then I'd be looking into timing and fuel. use the data logging to your full advantage.

Thats the thing, i don't trust these bastards one bit, because ever since i have taken my car there before all of the hondata stuff, things have been going wrong from then on. The problem that i have run into is i am out of money. I spent 2000 bucks on this **** to have them fix it and they made it worse. And the funny thing is they said that they test drove it the day before and it didn't do any of this.
The numbers are 255hp 277trq at the wheels @ 18psi.

If you need 18 psi then I think something must be amiss. isn't niedejb pushing the same power with like 13?
if you can't afford to go somewhere else and you can't figure out what the deal with your motor is then its time to start playing politics with this shop.

I've heard the total seal rings being a problem.
Ask them which cylinder was giving them low compression. I think they are confusing compression ratio with compression testing.
I.e. they probably have never tuned a 8.5:1 compression engine and assume such a low compression is causing the problems.
IMO it sounds like the bucking I had when I had too wide of a plug gap. No tuning in the world can take care of that. Gotta pull them and set em smaller (even with aftermarket ignition).

what shop are you going to? you are located fairly close to where I am and I might be able to send you to somebody plus I would like to know what shop you first went to
There are several things I feel are wrong here. First, the shop seems to have fucked something with tuning it. Another thing would be to get new, colder plugs and run an uprated ignition. If those don't work, try getting your injectors cleaned if you got them used.
