Default compression

ok,a freind of mine told me i can use 86-89 teg pistons in my 94 civic ex motor. he also told me it would bump me up almost a full point in compression. my ? is,will this work and what will higher compression equal out to in hp or torque gains.i'm also looking into some kind of forced induction or maybe a 75 shot, will this still be possible if i bump up the compression?

Hmm, sorry that you got bombed with a stupid reply.....I am not sure about your pistons, if the bore is the correct size and the wrist pins are the same then yup, you can.....to answer your question about FI....nope, FI and higher compression don't mix!
