Default Comp Test

I just got a compression test kit and my JDM B16A1 shows about 155 psi on each cylinder. For some reason that doesnt sound right. I know a USDM B18C1 can have about 225 psi while it is a lower compression motor than I have. Could i be doing something wrong?

Are you holding the throttle WIDE OPEN? This will most certainly cause lower readings.
