Default comments on this quote?

"I have two friends who rice imports (I mean race.). One has a high 12 civic. One has a high 11s accord. In both cases, they spent in excess of $30,000 each. Not to mention, they are breaking parts constantly. It, always starts off small, but when the bug bites, they, like us end up in the same quandry.

SPEED=$"

that kind of speed in a civic or accord cost that much? I am personally not surprised by this, but by what i've been hearing from reading some of the posts here...well u get the idea. Someone give me some proof IE times/mods/cost/reliablility.

i'll coment on the accord:
CHEAP WAY:
build block + turbo + Other things + ECU (P28 DIY chipping)
2600? + 3200 + (let's say 1500 for tuning and things) + 100? = 7400 bucks

this is an estimate, i'm tired
but 30 it's too much, with that kind of money you can make an accord run 11 and be a show car at the same time

it's too much money, but it's not far from the truth (being if you want to do it right the first time)

If you want to do it right and make it last then it takes money, you could go the cheap route but then when something bad happens you will be paying for it in the long run. Sure you could slap on an n.o.s kit and not upgrade anything, but don't expect it to last to long. Or you could build the block up, then put the n.o.s . Thats how I look at it.
