Default Cometic Head Gasket Leaking?

I'll skip straight to the cliffs...

Shop installed new Cometic head gasket on my motor when they installed my freshly ported head. (Engine is 82mm B18C)

Shop also installed new Skunk2 Pro intake manifold & Hondata IM gasket.

Car is blowing white smoke on Dyno.

Shop now wants to pull head again.

Possible faulty Cometic gasket or something else???

Shop is an hour away so I can't see what's going on until probably tomorrow...

Ideas?

did they use an 82mm cometic gasket?? I've seen stock size head gaskets burn through when used on larger bores.

have the head pressure tested while off to make sure they didn't over port on the short turn radius and get into the water pockets in the head

I highly doubt anything of that nature ocurred... I don't think that Endyn would make such a grave error.

GE sleeves are usually step-decked.

I guess I should have listened to people that said Cometic gaskets were crap...

Spoke to Cometic and the company I bought the gasket from, and neither one want to hear anything about this situation...

Cometic told me that since it's a performance part, there's no warranty, even though the damn thing didn't see any "performance" and it blew at idle....

 to Cometic....

Edited to add that my first post said that it blew on the Dyno. Not the case. The car didn't even see the dyno and the gasket blew...
