Color cods, Need help
How can I get the color codes off the block. Is there any marking on the crank that can provide that information. When rebuilding a motor, Do you have to used Honda bearings due to the coating...I'm building a B18a and H22a

take the number on the crank and match to the letter on the block for the bearing color.
if you have a manual you should know this. if you dont have one, get one.

you need to take out your block to see which combination you have, YOU CAN NOT GO TO DEALERSHIP AND EXPECT THEM TO GIVE YOU THE RIGHT COLOR CODE. every block has a different combination. To avoid downtime, I suggest get ACL, they're standard size, and they will fit whichever color of bearings you need...
I have ACL and they are all within specs, if I had to wait for the damn dealer backorder list, I'd have still have no car by now ( 60 days BO for brown color)
