Cold lower radiator hose?
Just did a swap. k20a. The tempeture goes up quickly. The top hose is hot but the lower hose is cold. I tried to bleed the radiator by opening the cap and turn the hot air on while car is on. One thing i notice is that the coolant doesn't even circulate at all. It just sit there. Plz help...
did you put in a new thermostat? it may not be opening. even if the bottom outlet was plugged you should have coolant spilling all over the place if the thermostat was opening. if you don't see water moving once the car is at normal operating temps, replace the thermostat. best part about it is that they are cheap! if you still have problems at that point, you could have a clogged radiator, though that isn't too likely [usually there will be at least SOME flow].
how high is the rad?? if its nto high enough it may not flow right, that was my problem. . also what kinda rad is it ?? did you bleed the sys right ??
