code22 lsvtec pics
Im throwing a code22 on my Lsvtec. when I run the 95ls ecu with vtec hard wired on a switch it runs fine everything works. now I just bought a reprogramed p28 and it is throwing the code 2sec. after strart up. it drives fine and I tryed reving it to at least 8000 in gear. I also check to make shure there is a conection from the pin is the ecu the the solidoid. anyone ever have this problem
Okay let me get this straight first.........you ran the engine with an LS ECU and you wired vtec to a switch for it to work, right? Then you just connected a P28 ECU and your throwing a CEL code 22?
If this is what you are trying to say, then its because you dont have vtec pressure switch connected to the ECU, because its still connected to the switch. The ECU is looking for the pressure switch. Just get rid of the switch and connect everything back to normal and you will be cool.

no I have the presure switch hooked up and pinned into d6 and vtec on a4. but it is still throwing the code and vtec is not working. how can you test if the presure switch is good?
