i am throwing code 9 so i looked it up in my haynes manual and it stated that code 9 is No. 1 cylinders position and to check the CYP sesor and the circuit and so i performed the test on the distibutor harness and got the feedback that it might be my distributor correct????? THe motor runs and idles fine but i have a hessitation when i first give it gas but after half a second it fires right up and goes. Is that possible warnings of a distibutor onits way out.

yup, hondas are know to have weak distributors... try replacing the housing..
