Default Code 86

"86 ECT Sensor (Engine Coolant Temperature) circuit range / performance problem"

Sorry to sound dumb, but i am not sure what this means. Do I need a new thermostat? Could it be the mixture of water and antifreeze, or do i need a new ect Sensor?

By the way my car is a 1997 integra gsr, only mod is a intake. I also have this posted in integra fourm but thought i might get better anwsers here
