Is your throttle cable on too tight? Have you tried replacing the TPS?

I think I can get my car to throw a TPS code by trying to rev it when I'm starting it. I did that by accident once, so I'd think a too-tight cable might do it too.

A code 7 is also sometimes thrown when there's a problem with the MAP sensor... doublecheck all the vacuum lines are tight and snug, and if that doesn't work, try swapping your MAP with a known-good unit.
