So i just picked up a 94 vigor and was getting code 3 i look under hood and the vacuum lin isnt connected. So i hook it up and it runs better but now im getting code 5 wich is still map sensor. So i need a cheap fix i only spent 300 on car so i was thinking about using a boost worthy map sensor. Like a motorola 2.5 or something else from xenocron because a new factory style one is 165 on ebay 265 and up else where. But the ones from xenocron are like 30-60 so will it work on my car or will it run like like ****?

 

you cant just throw on a non oem mapsensor with a dif bar. it will be way out of way.
you have to calibrate after market mapsensors in the ecu(tuning)
you can always go to the junk yard and get one off a dif honda, universal stock honda mapsensors

 

Well i swapped map sensors with my DA and noe its still giving me map sensor only diff now is its code 3 not 5
