Code 4, please help!
Hey. I am new to the board but dont get me wrong I know enough to usually help me out but with this one I am stuck. I have a 92 SI hatch with a fully built B18C GSR(thus built with all ITR internals and skunk intake manifold) and more, ...
A few days ago I was street raing as usuall on weeknds and when I was leaving I gave it, had some wheel hop and boom engine light came on. I stop bust out the paper clip and find that it is code 4. Cannot reset it cause it keeps comming back. Got home and found out that it is the CRANK ANGLE SENSOR. THe proble is that if im in any gear or neutral and I pin it to the floor the car will only rev to 3300 rpm and it will sit there and bounce off it like it is a rev limiter. I took it to honda and the said we cant fix it cause its a acura engine and when I talked to my shop they say without seeing it that I have to order a whole new distributor. I have gone threw the tec steps and I have the proper ohm's with terminals B and F on the connector beside the distributor and I checked for continuity on all of the pins and only one(pin A) had any voltage. SO this means that ???? is it only a short or do I have to replace the whole distributor. I know I only have to order the SUB ASSEMBLY but still. IT sucks cause I really cant drive the car no where. TOP SPEED of 105 km, oh ya, NO speeding tickets at least.
THANK YOU FOR ALL WHO CAN REPLY AND HOPEFULLY HELP ME OUT!

The engine is out of a 2000 SiR Integra which over here would be our 2000 GSR. We wired it up as OBD1 and I am running a mugen ecu, You can look at my web for all of my mods. well ,most of them anyways. I have been driving the car now for 6 months and have had really no problems but this is the first majour. I also run NOS but I dont belive that at all , it would of been the problem or he cause. What I have hooked up to the ignition is the CRANE ignition box, PS91 firball coil and msd cap. The car is fully dyno tunned and puts out 229.4hp at the wheels. I hope this helps you , so you can help me, thank you so very much!

Thanks a LOT. (My car is a 1992 Honda Civic CX HB .. and thus, I can't even get an ounce of power out of it anymore .. lol)
