code 23 and coolant problems?? very worried.
my car 2000 honda civic ex
me and my friend just finished swaping a 99 intake mainfold on my car. we had the gasket from a 2000 civic ex (new) but only differce is there was a lil too big on the top part. so we cut off the top part and everything else matched perfectly.
Now my car is getting a code 23, knock sensor, and im draining a **** load of coolant and i dont notice any leak. i can drive 20 min and my coolant would get drained up completly. Car drives fine heres some stuff people told me that might be causing the problems. and i just want your thoughts and opinions on this.
1:Wrogn head gasket used or reused.
2:Air preasure build up inside the coolant lines.
3:Coolant going into the tranny causing knock sensor off.

coolant leak, check all hoses after get gets hot, keep car where there is dry ground so you can spot it ... even with blown HG you can't lose all coolant ...
